SIGN AT PIER

They moved the sign telling about what's allowed on the Village Pier. Before it was to the side where no one saw it. Now it's right where you walk onto the pier. Looks nice, too!

GETTING READY FOR GA/FL VISITORS

All the shops are putting out UGA and Gator merchandise for the fans already crowding in. The restaurants are hauling in the beer. Even the County is sprucing up for the event!

Although to be fair, County Employees do a great job year-round, keeping everything looking good.

DRESSNERS

Our great restaurant closed the end of September. Sob. Oh for one of those plate-sized blueberry pancakes!

Here's a picture of Caylee with a former customer. She's still in St. Simons.

Goodbye to the old sign everyone will remember.

And this is how it looks now.

Sad. So sad.

FUN BUS at VILLAGE INN

Talked to the owner of the FUN BUS tours that originate in
Ohio. She always stops at the Village Inn and Suites because it's so unique. It's quaint but large enough to house a bus full of tourists.

We wish we had a FUN BUS down in these parts!
